it was a great location. not a bad place to stay. Positive: perfect size for the two of us. Negative: was surprised that other than salt/pepper, there were no other condiments. No spices, or sugar for coffee. Also no toaster. And noticed that stove had no bottom element so if using, you could only broil. Agreed with one other review that the stools were too high and a little treacherous to sit in. Counter for that could be a foot lower, would have been better.

Cute little two bedroom, clean and comfortable within a short drive to Picton Positive: The cottage has everything you need for comfortable stay, the kitchen is spacious and fairly well equipped, the beds are comfortable and spacious and the ample parking is definitely a plus.

Overall it was very clean and pleasant. Positive: I liked that the floor was super clean throughout. I liked the shelves in the bathroom - I could put my bathroom stuff in the bathroom instead of having to carry it back and forth from the bedroom. Negative: The coffee filters for the coffee maker are the wrong size so the filter holder plugs up and the coffee drains onto the counter instead of into the coffee pot. There weren't any appropriate chairs to pull up to the table to eat. The chairs for the bar were high and felt like they might fall over very easily.

Positive: The area is beautiful. The house was rustic and cozy. Very comfortable beds. Nothing bad to say about our experience. The hosts responded quickly, everything met or exceeded our expectations.
